6th, 7th, and 8th graders visited Mimms Ranch. Phil Boyd who works with the Dixon Water Foundation organized different organizations to set up learning stations. The stations included information on watersheds, wildlife skulls and skins, ranch land conservation, and bird research. The organizations presenting included the Dixon water foundation, wildlife biologist from TPWD, bird conservancy of the Rockies, and the ranch hand from Mimms ranch.
