Marfa ISD has lifted shelter in place and will continue to monitor the situation to ensure our students are safe. We appreciate the community's efforts to ensure each of our students are safe.
Marfa ISD is currently in a "shelter-in-place" which is a security procedure allowing students to work freely in the classroom while all doors remain locked. This process was initiated to ensure the highest degree of safety for all students and staff. We will notify parents and community members when the shelter in place is lifted.

The Marfa ISD family is deeply saddened by the loss of one of our students. Our condolences go out to his family. Marfa ISD will provide counseling for students and staff during this time of need.
