🧪🌎 Hands-on science in action!
Our 7th grade students in Mrs. Loya’s class explored the three types of plate boundaries in a fun, edible way. Using graham crackers to model continental crust, icing to represent the mantle, and fruit roll-ups as oceanic crust, students reviewed divergent, transform, and convergent boundaries while seeing how Earth’s plates move and interact.
Learning came alive as students built, observed, and discussed how these processes shape our planet. Great job to our young scientists for diving into geology with curiosity and creativity!
