Middle School Field Trip Experience
As a follow-up to the Energy Day STEM Institute, Marfa ISD Junior High students participated in an exciting, hands-on STEM field trip to the Petroleum Museum in Midland, Texas!
🔬 During the visit, students:
⭐ Designed and 3D-printed custom keychains
⭐ Participated in a live animal presentation focused on native West Texas wildlife
⭐ Explored interactive exhibits connecting science, technology, and regional history
👏 Museum admission was fully sponsored by ExxonMobil, ensuring no cost to students.
🔍 Looking Ahead:
The Petroleum Museum will visit Marfa ISD in February with their Mobile Human Body Exhibit, bringing interactive STEM learning directly to our campus!
