What does PTO stand for? It stands for Parent-Teacher Organization, consisting of parents and teachers working together to support and enrich all MISD students. We support school staff, help promote student self-esteem, and assist in efforts to solve school needs through volunteering and fundraising. A few programs we sponsor and/or support include the Annual Fall Festival, Tech The Halls technological fundraiser, flower fundraisers in the winter and spring, Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, monthly $50 staff gift card giveaways, monthly staff snack donations, Valentine's Day Grams and more.

The PTO is a team effort in which we cannot succeed on our own. We would like to encourage every parent and/or guardian to consider helping us make our school a better place to learn and grow by volunteering or donating to help our efforts. For more information please email ptomarfa@gmail.com. Find us on Facebook@ Marfa ISD Parent Teacher Organization.
