The staff at Robinson Cafeteria would like to welcome all students and staff to the upcoming Marfa Shorthorn school year!
The first day of school is quickly approaching and as families ready for this much anticipated day, the staff at Robinson Cafeteria are busy making preparations to provide healthy and nutritious meals for our students, staff, and visitors. Part of these preparations consist of "getting the word out" to households in the Marfa area on how and where they can apply for free and reduced-price meals.
This link provides households with our yearly Media Release, which has useful information on criteria for Free/Reduced-Price Meal benefits, income eligibility, categorical or program eligibility, determining eligibility, and how unexpected circumstances may benefit a household. The link also provides households with a parent/guardian letter (English & Spanish) which has questions and answers on who/what/where, along with other very insightful information. You will also find the 2017-2018 Multi-Child Application for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals (English and Spanish), directions for applying for free and reduced-price school meals (English & Spanish), and Income Eligibility Guidelines for Determining Free and Reduced Price Benefits.
We hope parents and guardians will take a few minutes from their busy schedules to review this important information, print and fill out an application for free and reduced-price school meals and return the completed application to Robinson Cafeteria, Marfa ISD Central Office, Marfa Elementary, or Marfa Jr/Sr High.
Looking forward to a very fruitful year at Robinson Cafeteria!
