Attendance calls are made for the safety of your child. Attendance notifications are sent daily between 11 AM and noon by phone, email and/or text message when your student is marked absent from school. If you know your child is not in school because he or she is home sick or has an appointment for the day, you should email the school as soon as possible and let the school know your child is out that day.
Marfa Schools will not accept phone calls to clear an absence. We must have written documentation, preferably by email, to clear absences. If you are unable to send an email please send a written note with your child upon their return. The written note should include the date of the absence, the parent signature, the full name of the student, and the reason for the absence. Please send emails to email@example.com.
Change Notification Preferences
Parents can change their attendance notification settings by using InfoCenter. You will need to setup an account using the parent email you used during student registration if you have not already. InfoCenter can also be used to manage your other notification settings for general announcements and emergencies.
